Year 6 Trip To Holy Trinity Church 11 Jan 2007
Location:Holy Trinity Church, Boston Offical Web Site:http://www.htonline.org.uk On the 11th January 2007 Year 6 made a trip to Holy Trinity Church there Reverend Dowson performed a Wedding Service to Year 6. The lucky people who were a part of the ceremony were: Luke (as the Groom) Amy (as the Bride) and Davis (as the Best Man). Also we hired two photographers from Year 6 Daniel & Jack who have come back with some lovely photos of the couple. Sadly there wasn’t the “you may now kiss the bride” part but Reverend Dowson did perform most of the ceremony but not all as Luke & Amy didn’t want to get married for real. Reverend Dowson did talk to the children about the different parts of a Wedding, and parts of the church and what they are called and used for. I’m sure all the children had a fun and exciting trip and really enjoyed it.(Apart from the walk back to school in the rain!)
