They will spend seven years at this school before transferring to secondary school. Lincolnshire Authority have a selection procedure at 11+ . Children normally transfer to the Giles School, William Lovell School, Haven High School, Boston High School for Girls, Skegness Grammar School or Boston Grammar School for Boys. Parents are given an opportunity to say which secondary school they would prefer their children to attend. They may also opt for their child not to sit the selection tests.

At secondary school, GCSE exams may be taken by the children, and at 16, there is the opportunity to stay for higher education, either at the Secondary School, or at Boston College of Further Education.

A booklet entitled 'Going to school in Lincolnshire 2010- 2011' is available in school for all parents and is particularly helpful regarding procedures for the Secondary stage of your child's education. (Please ask for a copy at the School Office.)
