HOME- SCHOOL AGREEMENT
Home - School Agreement
The Home - School Agreement emphasises the importance of the partnership between home and school. A home -School Agreement is a statement, which explains the school's aims and values: the school's responsibilitiestowards its pupils; the responsibilities of its parents and what the school expects of its pupils.
SCHOOL
1. To provide a high standard of education for all children and tailor work to meet the needs of individuals.
2. Provide a well resourced and maintained learning environment offering a wide range of experiences.
3. Inform parents through the year of each child's progress through regular meetings and reports. In addition we will contact parents should we have any other concerns or in the case of an emeregency.
4. Inform parents of arrangements for homework on an annual basis.
5. Be open and welcoming at all times and make parents aware of opportunities to be involved in the daily life of the school.
6. The school will provide a safe and secure environment for all children.
7. Provide a range of balanced learning oppotunities for all children to help them grow into independent and responsible people.
PARENTS
1. Ensure children arrive punctually at School and are collected at the correct times after School.
2. Informing School of reasons for absence as soon as possible and ensuring children maintain as high a rate of attendance as possible.
3. Support the School's uniform policy and also ensure that jewellery can be removed for P.E. lessons.
4. Attend Parents' Evenings as arranged through the year to discuss child's progress.
5. Ensure time and space is given at home for children to complete homework tasks.
6. To support the School policy and guidelines on behaviour.
7. Make the School aware of any concerns or problems that may affect their child's work or behaviour at School.
PLEASE SUPPORT THE SCHOOL IN EVERY WAY SO THAT EVERY PUPIL CAN ACHIEVE THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL
