Each year the School Leadership Team sets new priorities for the school following a review which is then taken to the Governing Body for approval. This year the key priorities are:

Each year the School Leadership Team sets new priorities for the school following a review which is then taken to the Governing Body for approval. This year the key priorities are:

1. To continue to raise attainment in Reading, Writing and Mathematics across the school to improve Key Stage 1 standards at Level 2 and 3, and at Key Stage 2 improve overall performance at Level 4.

2. To build and extend the outdoor ‘classroom’ for the Reception children and undertake a major development of the school grounds to provide’ all year round’ outside facilities for learning, keeping ’fit and healthy’ and having ‘ fun’.

3. To complete the introduction of a Primary Foreign Language by extending the teaching to Reception and Key Stage 1 classes. Developing the curriculum with each year in Key Stage 2.


4. To participate in the Boston Visual Literacy Project to aid and improve the quality of children’s writing through the use of media.


5. To further develop and encourage opportunities for everyone connected with the school and the local community, to be a part of an exciting new venture as a member of –
