school work, playing sports and games, school uniform, attendance, punctuality, behaviour, staying safe, environemnetal issues, community spirit and consideration of other people.

It is vital that parents and teachers work together and share the same expectations and standards if the children are to develop to their full potential.

Always give your child plenty of encouragement and praise. Talk over problems with your child's teacher. Do try to attend the open evenings each year. You will be able to look at work done at the school, and discuss your child's progress with staff. We are only too happy to talk to parents whenever there is a need.

Some parents give valuable  help on special occassions- parties trips etc. Others assist in the day to day running of class activities, making booklets, cooking, hearing children read and generally  offering an extra pair of hands. We also appreciate the help that those parents who can offer special skills in the form of crafts and sporting activities.
