As part of the BTEC Sports course at William Lovell, the students organised a primary schools’ cross country event which was attended by 5 local schools, Butterwick, Hawthorn Tree, Sibsey, Stickney and Tower Road. The races took place on Tuesday 10th January 2012.
The event was very well organised and the students were very kind and supportive towards the primary school children. They had organised a cross country course of about 1300m on the field which followed a figure of eight shape.

The boys’ race followed and resulted in Jack coming in first place with a clear lead. Joshua followed in 3rd place with one of his best ever runs. Then Luke and Edward in 6th and 7th places respectively. There was a fantastic race to the finish for 10th to 13th places, with a final spurt Daniel took 10th place, Nathaniel 11th and Joe in 13th place.
